How to Cook Rice in a Regular Pot

Essential Ingredients and Tools
- Northern rice
- Water
- Thick-bottomed pot with a tight-fitting lid (prevents excessive steam leakage during cooking)
Measurements
- Rice: 100ml-200ml per person
- Water: 2 times the volume of the rice
Instructions
- Rinse the rice
- Add rice and water to the pot
- Bring to a boil over high heat
- Stir the bottom to prevent sticking
- Cover the pot, reduce heat to low, and cook for 10-15 minutes (depending on your preference for softness). Do not open the lid during this time.
- Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes
- Enjoy :)
